Newly elected barangay officials attended a one-day training conducted by DILG Bulacan entitled “Component 3: Sharpening the Saw of Barangay Newly Elected Officials (BNEO) towards Grassroots Renewal and Empowerment for Accountable and Transparent (GREAT) Barangays Program”. This was held last November 6, 2024 at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center. The said training aims to strengthen and enhance the skills of barangay officials in effectively implementing their duties and responsibilities in accordance to our laws and policies.

Hon. Fortunato SJ. Angeles took his oath of office as the new Liga ng mga Barangay Bulacan Chapter President before Governor Daniel R. Fernando together with DILG Bulacan Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia, and other LnB Bulacan Chapter officers. Board Member Angeles hails from the Municipality of Bustos and replaced the deceased LnB President Ramil Capistrano.

The Provincial Government of Bulacan recognized barangay projects and barangay workers that showed exemplary service and dedication during the Gawad Galing Barangay held last October 17, 2024 at The Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center. The said event was graced by Liga ng mga Barangay National Federation President Maria Katrina Jessica G. Dy, DILG Bulacan Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia, Board Member Casey Tyrone E. Howard, Board Member Cezar L. Mendoza, and Bustos ABC President Fortunato SJ. Angeles.

The municipality of Pulilan welcomed the Liga ng mga Barangay Bulacan Chapter as it hosted the League’s monthly regular meeting last August 16, 2024. The gathering was graced by First District Board Member Romina Fermin, DILG Bulacan Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia and LGOO VII Lydia Baltazar, Malou Tapican from the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, and the 19 barangay captains from Pulilan. The League’s President, Board Member Ramilito Capistrano, expressed his heartfelt thanksgiving to all the attendees and to Brgy. Captain Dennis Cruz, the ABC President of Pulilan, for welcoming everyone.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region III conducted a coordination meeting between various agencies and local government units related to Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) entitled “Interfacing on Peace and Order and Public Safety Issues” last July 20, 2024 at Royce Hotel, Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga. Bulacan was represented by the Provincial Chapter President of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP); and the Provincial Chapter President and Vice President of the Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB). The event was also graced by the DILG Secretary Benhur C. Abalos, Jr.

The Liga ng mga Barangay Bulacan Chapter spearheaded the Provincial Re-Orientation and Consultation in the Implementation of Barangay Drug Clearing Program (BDCP) last July 17, 2024. The said event was held at the Hiyas Pavilion, City of Malolos, Bulacan in coordination with the Department of Interior and Local Government. The participants were welcomed by the Lnb Bulacan Chapter President Ramilito B. Capistrano and DILG Bulacan Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia.

The Liga ng mga Barangay Bulacan Chapter held its monthly meeting last June 6, 2024 at Fortune (Hong Kong) Seafood Restaurant. Also in attendance is DILG Bulacan Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia.

The Liga ng mga Barangay sa Pilipinas National Executive Board and National Directorate gathered for the General Assembly and Oath Taking Ceremony last June 4-6, 2024 at Kingsford Hotel in Parañaque City.

Liga ng mga Barangay sa Pilipinas officials from Region I, III and CAR convened at the SMX Convention Center in Davao City for the Regional General Membership Assembly last March 20-22, 2024.

The Liga ng mga Barangay sa Pilipinas recently conducted its National and Regional Election of officers. This was held last March 18, 2024 at The Manila Hotel.
