The grand launching of SIGLABAY (SIGla at LAkas ng BAYanihan) – an initiative dedicated to enhancing disaster preparedness, particularly in relation to earthquakes, at the barangay level – marks a significant milestone toward the development of a safer and more resilient community. Spearheaded by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Bulacan, the event successfully gathered representatives from the Municipalities, Barangays, the Philippine National Police, and the Bureau of Fire Protection to strengthen coordination, enhance knowledge, and reinforce response capabilities in times of disaster. The activity exemplified the spirit of bayanihan, showcasing the essential role of every sector in safeguarding the lives and livelihoods of the citizens.
